1. Scope
This policy applies to access to the US Aminos catalog, order requests, and research materials offered through this website. Use of the site is also subject to our Terms, Shipping Policy, Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy.
2. Research use only
Products are offered solely as laboratory research materials for legitimate analytical, in-vitro, assay-development, or other controlled research activities. They are not represented as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices and are not offered for diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.
Products must not be consumed, injected, inhaled, applied topically to people or animals, compounded for administration, or otherwise used in humans or animals. A research-use statement does not authorize an otherwise unlawful use.
3. Purchaser eligibility
Access to the commercial catalog is restricted to persons who are at least 21 years old. By placing an order request, the purchaser further represents that the purchase is for bona fide research and that the purchaser has the knowledge, facilities, procedures, and authority reasonably necessary to receive and handle the material.
US Aminos may request additional information when reasonably necessary to evaluate an order and may decline or cancel an order that does not satisfy these requirements.
4. Purchaser compliance responsibilities
The purchaser is responsible for determining whether acquisition, possession, storage, transport, handling, use, and disposal are lawful and permitted by any applicable institutional rules. Where a research activity requires a license, approval, protocol, or institutional oversight, the purchaser is responsible for obtaining it before using the material.
US Aminos does not provide legal, regulatory, medical, veterinary, or clinical advice.
5. No medical or therapeutic claims
Catalog descriptions, analytical reports, specifications, and customer support are provided to identify and document research materials. They do not provide dosing, administration, treatment, efficacy, safety, or clinical-use guidance. US Aminos does not claim that any research material is safe or effective for human or veterinary use.
6. Handling, storage, and disposal
Research materials should be handled by appropriately trained personnel using procedures, containment, personal protective equipment, storage conditions, and waste practices suitable for the material and the research setting. Follow product documentation and applicable safety requirements. Do not store or handle research materials in a manner inconsistent with lawful laboratory use.
7. Misuse and diversion
Prohibited conduct includes human or animal use; purchasing for personal consumption or self-administration; marketing or representing products for wellness, cosmetic, performance-enhancement, bodybuilding, weight-loss, or therapeutic purposes; and reselling or transferring materials when the seller knows or has reason to believe they will be used unlawfully or contrary to this policy.
US Aminos may refuse, suspend, or cancel transactions or restrict access when misuse, fraud, diversion, or unlawful activity is reasonably suspected.
8. Analytical documentation and limitations
Where available, US Aminos may publish third-party or supplier analytical documentation associated with a product. Reports are displayed for transparency and should be read according to the laboratory's stated test scope and results. A report does not establish medical suitability, sterility, clinical safety, efficacy, or regulatory approval unless the report expressly tests and establishes that specific attribute.
Research materials are supplied for research purposes only, and researchers are responsible for qualification, validation, controls, and fitness-for-purpose decisions within their own work.
9. Returns and product issues
Because handling history can affect research materials, returns are limited. Wrong, damaged, or missing items should be reported promptly. See the Returns & Order Issues Policy for the current process.
10. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, US Aminos is not responsible for losses resulting from misuse, unauthorized administration, improper handling or storage, unlawful activity, failure to follow this policy, or experimental outcomes. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
These site terms and policies are intended to be governed by applicable United States law and, where permitted, the laws of the State of Mississippi, without limiting any non-waivable consumer or statutory rights.
12. Updates
US Aminos may revise this policy as its catalog, operations, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current posted version.
13. Acceptance
By accessing the age-restricted catalog or submitting an order request, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy and that information you provide in connection with an order is accurate.
Questions may be submitted through the contact page.
